Dear Team—

I know you all just completed your gathering - I hope you’re as thrilled as I am with the recent updates. Previously I shared you all a update, I stated the following: “I believe in this team. You all are some of the most motivated and creative developers we have had the opportunity to work with - and we’re looking forward for that relationship to continue.”

Through your commitment and versatility, particularly over the past twelve months, you consistently demonstrate that.

The gamer responses from last autumn’s the game playtest was informative. It confirmed the appeal of a roguelike shooter but told us we still had work to do. It uncovered the requirement for a more distinct identity.

It’s been inspiring to see how far you’ve advanced. You embraced the criticism to mind and revamped Project ETHOS with a renewed direction - one that’s poised to achieve its ambition to our players.

The belief in this project grows every day. To further the incredible development you’ve made, It is a pleasure to welcome the new hire as the latest Lead of the team. After a period of discussions, Ben starts with us on next week.

Ben’s leadership and experience in the competitive gaming field is considerable, having spent the past decade and a half creating and overseeing some of the most popular titles in gaming, including the acclaimed shooter, and most recently, Apex Legends.

I invite you all in receiving Ben next week. We are all excited to continue seeing the development of Project ETHOS in the time to come.

David
